General terms and conditions of sale

Article 1 – Duration of stay

The customer who accepts this contract concluded for a fixed period may under no circumstances claim any right to remain in the property.

Article 2 – Holiday package

The package includes accommodation in a single room with private bathroom and breakfast.

The rooms are equipped with household linen (bed linen and towels). In the event of a long stay, sheets may be changed after three days on request and pillowcases and bathroom linen as soon as necessary.

If, despite our vigilance, the customer notices a malfunction in the room, he/she is invited to report it immediately.

Article 3 – Prices

The applicable prices are those in force on the day of the reservation. Le Clos des Queyries is free to vary its prices at any time and differently from one reservation site to another. Therefore, only the price indicated in the booking confirmation is contractual.

The rates indicated are in euros and are given per night, including breakfast and tourist tax for the number of occupants agreed.

Article 4 – Tourist tax

The tourist tax collected by Le Clos des Queyries and paid to Bordeaux Métropole is included in the price of the stay.

Article 5 – Booking procedures and means of payment

Reservations can be made using the reservation module on our website by credit card. Le Clos des Queyries also accepts bookings by telephone or e-mail.

In the case of a reservation by e-mail or telephone, a deposit of 30% may be required, to be paid by bank transfer or credit card.

The reservation is firm and definitive only after confirmation from Le Clos des Queyries and receipt, where applicable, of the deposit requested.

The customer must pay the full amount of the stay on arrival, by bank transfer, cash or credit card.

Consumption and additional services not mentioned in this contract must be paid to Le Clos des Queyries at the end of the stay.

By making a reservation, the customer expresses their full and complete agreement with these GTC.

Article 6 – Modification / cancellation of the reservation

Cancellation by the customer              

All cancellations must be notified to the owners in writing.

Cancellation before the start of the holiday:

– The customer may cancel the booking free of charge up to 3 days before arrival.

– The customer must pay the full amount of the booking if they cancel within 3 days of arrival.

– If the customer does not show up, he/she must pay the full amount of the reservation.

In the case of a “non-refundable” rate, payment is made in full at the time of booking and is therefore non-refundable, whatever the reason for cancellation.

If the customer does not arrive at the agreed time on the start date of the stay, the owners may make use of the guest rooms and will retain the full amount of the reservation.

In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the total cost of the stay will be due.

Cancellation imposed by the authorities (e.g. Covid 19)           

Reservations cancelled in this case may be reimbursed in the form of an 18-month credit note, repayable in full.

Cancellation by the owner 

In the event that Le Clos des Queyries is unable to accommodate a customer who has made a firm reservation, the owners will do everything necessary to rehouse the customer in an establishment with equivalent services. The customer will be reimbursed immediately for any sums already paid.

Article 7 – Change of room

Le Clos des Queyries reserves the right to change the room initially booked by the customer for a room of the same category or a higher category if necessary, without the customer being able to claim any compensation whatsoever. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.

Article 8 – Arrival and departure times

Reception is between 4pm and 8pm, as Le Clos des Queyries does not have a permanent reception service. However, other times may apply.

On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 11am and the keys returned. If the keys cannot be returned, a charge of €50 will be made.

Article 9 – Occupants

The number of occupants must be as agreed at the time of booking. If this is not the case, the owners reserve the right to refuse additional guests. This refusal can in no way be considered as a breach of contract on the part of Le Clos des Queyries, and no reimbursement can be considered.

Similarly, no visitors will be accepted on the premises of Le Clos des Queyries without the prior agreement of the owners.

Article 10 – Animals

For reasons of hygiene and respect for the other occupants of Le Clos des Queyries, animals are not accepted.

In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the customer, the refusal to accept animals and their owners by the managers of Le Clos des Queyries cannot be considered as a modification or breach of contract on the initiative of the manager. Consequently, in the event of the customer’s departure, no reimbursement can be envisaged.

Article 11 – Respect for house rules

For the respect of everyone, smoking is strictly forbidden throughout the house. Any breach of this rule may render the customer liable, particularly in the event of an accident or fire. Ashtrays are available on the terrace where smokers are free to smoke as long as they do not disturb other guests.

To ensure the peace and quiet of the premises and respect for the rest of other guests, customers undertake to be as quiet as possible before 8.30 a.m. for early risers and after 10.30 p.m. in the evening.

Customers undertake to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of their stay, and to declare and pay for any damage for which they may be responsible.

Article 12 – Internet

Le Clos des Queyries provides its guests with a free Wi-Fi internet connection in the rooms and communal areas. The user undertakes not to use the service for purposes contrary to the regulations in force.

Article 13 – RGPD

In accordance with the law of 6 January 1978, amended on 8 January 2018, you have the right to access and rectify data concerning you. Le Clos des Queyries undertakes not to pass on to other companies or organisations the information you have provided.
